Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) has warned telecom companies of stern action if they damage pipelines while digging roads to repair cables.“Orders have been issued to the officials to slap penalty on telecom companies, if pipeline damages are proven to be done by them. “The residents will soon get steady supply of water under the 24/7 drinking water supply project.”The civic body had issued circulars in May to stop unauthorized road digging.
