Tirupur: A local court has sentenced a 42-year-old man to life imprisonment for killing a tea shop worker over previous enmity in the city.The convict was identified as K Selvakumar of Sevathampalayam. The case trial was held before the Tirupur principal district and sessions court. As prosecution side proved the case against Selvakumar, principal district judge S Alli on Thursday sentenced him to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on him.Selvakumar was later lodged in the Coimbatore Central Prison.
