Summary:
For the post of tradesman, the candidates should have SSLC /10{+t}{+h} pass with original certificate and should have obtained proficiency in the trade. On subsequent days, medical test and personal interview will be conducted for candidates who clear the physical test. The soldier GD cadre post should have the educational qualification of SSLC/10{+t}{+h} pass with 45 % marks aggregate. Their physical standards are required as height – 160cm, weight – 50kg and chest – minimum 77cm with 5cm expansion. Candidates who are employed in civil or self-employed, ex-NCC cadets (good firers), outstanding sportsmen, artist/painters, LMV/HMV license holders, musicians and dependents of servicemen/ex-servicemen will be given preference.Personnel employed in civil organization will have to produce a ‘no objection’ certificate from their employer..
