Summary:

Coimbatore: Two little sisters have made the city proud at the international yoga championship held in Thailand recently by taking home gold. “They also hold world records for performing asanas such as Samyuktha. “We considered yoga classes for them only when we noticed their high levels of physical energy. While Samyukthaa has entered into the Jetlee Book of Records and Children’s Book of Records for performing three asanas standing on a ball in a minute, Yashaswini set the record by performing 37 asanas in two minutes and 40 seconds,” Narasimhan said. We believed that yoga would help them discipline their bodies,” he said.It was around June this year that the girls were enrolled to yoga classes with master S Ganeshan, who runs Kamali Yoga Centre at Saravanampatti. The girls were quick to learn and in no time began winning state-level championships..
