Coimbatore: The fifth Tamil Nadu International Balloon Festival began in Pollachi on Sunday with a great deal of fanfare. The three-day event, held in association with the Tamil Nadu department of tourism, offers hot air balloon rides for the public.The festival features 10 hot air balloons from eight countries. Balloon flights would start from 6am, while tethered rides would start at 4.30pm, the release said.
