COIMBATORE: The Nilgiri Mountain Rail special train which runs every Saturday from Mettupalayam to Coonoor and returns on Sunday afternoon, will soon be extended till Udhagamandalam, said divisional railway manager, U Subba Rao. He said there was a growing demand among passengers to run the special train all the way to Udhagamandalam station. “We are seeing more than 90% occupancy and many passengers are asking for the train to be extended till Udhagamandalam.
