They reached the venue in the wee hours of morning on Friday to take part in the cleanliness drive . The occasion was Swachchathan 2019, which was organised by Dr GR Damodaran College of Science as part of which students were encouraged to go out in the city and clean the localities. This time around, the responsible students cleaned the entire stretch from Hope College to the airport junction.Students were divided in to different groups and were allotted specific areas to clean. The garbage waste was separated into biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste as well.
