Cabinet nod to Rs 900 crore drinking water projects in Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: The state cabinet on Wednesday approved six rural piped water supply projects worth Rs 900 crore set to come up in various districts.Sources said a drinking water supply project each would be taken up in Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur and four other four projects would be implemented in mining-affected Jajpur, Keonjhar and Sundargarh districts. "There are concerns about the presence of fluoride in water in Narasinghapur and Badamba blocks of Cuttack.
