CUTTACK: The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the agitating lawyers of Orissa high court and subordinate courts to call off their ongoing month long cease-work agitation and resume court work.After getting a copy of the order of the Supreme Court through registrar general of Orissa high court, the high court association has called an emergency meeting on Friday 9.30 am to decide its further course of action. An emergency meeting has been called tomorrow in this regard,” said secretary of high court bar association, Satyabrata Mohanty. Meanwhile, the Supreme court also asked the lawyers to resume their work so that litigants like Mitra can get their right of access to justice. “We have received the Supreme Court’s order asking us to resume court work so that no impediment is caused in the right of access to justice to any litigant.
