A woman has given birth to rare conjoined twin daughters with two-heads and three-hands girl in Odisha`s Kendrapara district.
The condition is medically known as Siamese twins, and is understood as a rare condition.

These girls were born in a private nursing home on the morning of Sunday, April 11.

The girls were shifted to the district hospital due to deteriorating health and were later sent to Vallabhbhai Patel Hospital (Shishu Bhavan) in Cuttack for special care and treatment.

The doctors said that the delivery was done by cesarean (operation).

The doctors of the district hospital of Kendrapara said that these girls are not one but two.

This is a composite twin case.

That is, a case in which the heads of both the girls are different but the torso is the same.

These girls have been born in the house of Umakant Parida and his wife Ambika, who live in the Kani village of the Rajnagar area.

According to neonatal experts, this is a rare medical condition and such a case comes in millions.

The girl`s father, Umakant Parida, has requested the Odisha government for help.

Parida said that just as the government had helped to separate children in the Kandhamal case, it should be done for them as well.
