HC files contempt case against CBSE official

"Hearing of the case is on and CBSE could have cited its contentions in court. While hearing the pleas, the court asked CBSE authorities to submit before it details of the outcome of re-evaluation answer sheets of the 18 students. Taking strong note of it, the court has filed contempt case against the CBSE official," said petitioners' counsel Asim Amitabh Dash.Meanwhile, petitions of seven more Class XII students seeking re-evaluation of their answer sheets were taken up for hearing by the court on Tuesday. The court wanted to know as what exact changes have been made during the re-evaluation.
