Court dismiss discharge petition of Abdul Rehman

CUTTACK: The Cuttack district and sessions judge court on Wednesday rejected the discharge petition filed by suspected operative of al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent ( AQIS ), Abdul Rehman , who was arrested from Cuttack in 2015.Rehman ad opposed the sections leveled against him by the crime branch in chargesheet. Rehman, a cleric, used to run a madrassa in Jagatpur where over 100 poor children from Jharkhand and Bihar studied.Crime branch's special task force subsequently investigated into the terror activities of Rehman in Odisha and had submitted a detailed chargesheet against him..
