Delhi man drowns in Sahastradhara

Dehradun: Vijay Lal, 35, a resident of Dwarka in Delhi who worked as a taxi driver drowned at Sahastradhara in Dehradun on Saturday. His family members have been informed and till their arrival the body has been kept at Coronation Hospital. Raipur police said that a group of five people had come to Dehradun on Saturday morning and gone straight to Sahstradhara. On information, a police team reached the spot and started rescue operations.After an hour-long operation, the body was fished out of the river.
