Dehradun: The Dehradun railway station remained closed for five hours on Sunday for the construction work of an underpass at the Ajabpur railway crossing in Doon. The work was carried between 8:30 am till 1:30 pm, during which the tracks were closed. Many of whom said they were not informed by the railways regarding the same. “The railways claim to have informed the passengers beforehand about maintenance work but despite having tickets, we did not get any mail or text informing us about the delay in trains,” said a passenger.
