Man to be booked for ‘triple talaq’

Dehradun: A local court on Tuesday ordered police to register a case against a married man for allegedly sending a notice of ‘triple talaq’ to his wife. In her complaint, she has also claimed that she had to leave her MBBS in the third year due to pressure from her husband and in-laws. Both were married in 2002.Shugata also filed a complaint with the women helpline of district police but no action was taken forcing her to approach the court in the matter.
