Dehradun: The State Commission for Protection of Child Rights ( SCPCR ), Uttarakhand , on Saturday sent a notice to the Dehradun-based school which denied admission to the survivor of the gang rape incident which had rocked the city a few weeks ago. Police investigation revealed that the school officials had tried to cover up the matter.Five officials of the school including the principal and the school director were subsequently arrested for trying to destroy evidence. “We had filed complaints on October 16 but except the child rights commission, no other body has approached us,” Chauhan said. Four of the students who were accused of raping the girl were also detained..
