DEHRADUN: Polling for the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) polls in Uttarakhand started on a peaceful note on Sunday. “While 474 polling centres have been identified under sensitive category, 368 centres are under hyper sensitive category. Till 12 noon, 28 per cent voting was recorded and it went up to 35 per cent by 1pm. No untoward incident was reported till Sunday afternoon.The State Election Commission has ordered re-poll in three polling booths of Kashipur in Udham Singh Nagar district . This would be for the first time when Rishikesh and Kotdwar would be witnessing mayoral polls..
