The agitating employees claim that they did not get their dues for the past two months.Praveen Rawat, president of the Peyjal Nigam workers’ union, told TOI , “Nearly 500 employees have not been paid for the second consecutive month and thus are unable to sustain themselves. If the state government does not release the sanctioned fund in addition to an agreement to regularise salary payment within two days, the employees will go on a pen-down strike,” he said.
