Nainital: Parents of a newborn , who died at a hospital here on Wednesday, gave a written complaint alleging the doctor and other hospital staff refused to attend to their infant after she fell sick on Tuesday night.The newborn was in the neonatal intensive care unit since her birth on Sunday. Father of the infant, Mohammad Rafiq, 35, said he repeatedly requested the doctor to attend to the infant but the doctor allegedly refused. The hospital administration said an inquiry has been set up.Medical superintendent of the institution, Arun Joshi said, “We have received a written complaint from the father of the infant. Inquiry has been already set up in the matter and we will hear everyone related to the case.”"My child lost her life due to sheer negligence of doctors and the staff.
