CBSE bans tight clothes in examination halls, lays down dress code for students

Dehradun: The regional office of the Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) has banned private students from wearing tight clothes to the examination centre and made white shirts compulsory to sit in examination halls. Speaking to TOI, CBSE regional officer Ranveer Singh said that all these steps have been taken to reduce chances of cheating in the examination halls. “We have directed that no candidate be allowed into the exam hall after the stipulated time. “We have issued all these advisories to ensure that no cheating material is brought inside the examination hall,” said Singh.The latest circular also made signatures of parents on the admit cards of students compulsory. “Students have been asked to bring their school ID with them..
