Man loses his ear after conductor pushes him out of moving bus

Dehradun: A 30-year-old passenger lost his right ear after he was allegedly pushed out of a moving city bus by the conductor following an argument over bus fare, police said on Friday. The conductor and driver are absconding since the incident.The man, identified as Vikki, a resident of Khurbara Mohalla, boarded the city bus from Balliwala chowk. As the bus reached Laxman Chowk police chowki, Vikki was allegedly pushed out of the bus by the conductor.“Witnesses told police that the conductor was angry as the victim was neither paying the fare nor getting off the bus,” said sub-inspector Brijpal Singh, in charge of Laxman chowki police station.Singh said that a case would be registered after the victim’s family files a complaint.When contacted, president of city bus association, Vijay Dhandriyal, told TOI, “I have been told by the bus owner that the man was in an inebriated condition and fell on his own.”.
