Pithoragarh police, SSB conductchecks along India-Nepal border

Pithoragarh: Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, a joint team of Pithoragarh police, in coordination with Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), forest department and revenue police, conducted a combing operation along the 150-km long India-Nepal border.The operation was conducted to check any Maoist related activity, illegal arms workshop and hooch manufacturing units. The operations are likely to continue until March 18.
