Haridwar: Father of Indian hockey player Vandana Kataria has been booked for power theft in Haridwar by the electricity department. Ten consumers including Nahar Singh, Pankaj Kumar, Lakhan Singh and Chadra Shekhar were booked for power theft. According to electricity department, they have been accused of stealing power after cutting electricity cables. A case has also been registered in the matter under section 135 of Electricity Act in SIDCUL police station. A complaint was given to SIDCUL police station against them.”.
