Even in other states they have single tourism body which work in unison for the same objective. GMVN and KMVN run the guest houses which are owned by UTDB. Most of these rest houses are running into losses for their locations.Dhirender Kumar, manager of Ganga resorts at Rishikesh, one of the few profit-making rest houses of GMVN said, “Tourists get confused with these different organizational structures in tourism departments.
