Uttarakhand to have digital data center by March 2018

The Information Technology Development Agency is behind the setting up the state data centre in Uttarakhand. DEHRADUN: Chief secretary Utpal Kumar Singh on Tuesday held a meeting to look into the progress of Digital India campaign . During the meeting he was told that the state would have its own data centre by March 2018.The officers present in the meeting said that Uttarakhand was fast moving towards strengthening the nine-pillars of Digital India - Broadband highways, Universal access to phones, public internet access programme e-governance reforming government through Technology, e-Kranti - Electronic delivery of services, Electronics manufacturing target net zero imports, IT for jobs highways, information for all and early harvest programme.Singh laid thrust on the need to lay fiber cable till the village panchayat ..
