Summary:
While 6,649 and 7,635 samples of milk were analysed in the years 2014-15 and 2015-16 respectively, none of the samples were collected or analysed from the Capital. Most of the adulterated samples are from UP (1,306 out of 2,468). Of the total 7,638 samples collected from across the country, 2,332 were found to be adulterated, almost a third of the actual number. However, eight samples were collected in 2016-17 from Delhi.
