A severe dust storm and strong winds have hit Delhi, as the weather took a sudden turn this evening.
Delhi NCR is DARK at 5 PM

Dust storm accompanied with light rain and squall with wind speed upto 70 to 80 KMPH would occur over Delhi and NCR during next 3 hours, according to a notice released by Indian Meteorological Department, Delhi.
It was immediately followed by rain in the national capital.
The sky turned completely dark at 5 pm, about two hours earlier than usual.
The Met department had earlier today predicted that there will be strong winds of 70-80 kmph this evening.
As soon as the storm hit, Delhiites and people from NCR flooded social media with pictures and videos of dust storm

It was a warm day on Thursday with the maximum temperature settling at 42 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average normal 41.6 degrees Celsius .
