Moorthymore-inA couple died and their three children sustained injuries after roof of their house collapsed in Dwarka’s Kakrola area early on Monday morning. A PCR call was received at 3.30 am under Dwarka North police station regarding the fallen roof at Hari Vihar near the Kakrola dairy area. Police said the elder son Vaibhav told them that the house was owned by his father. The weak iron rods were unable to take the load and hence, the roof collapsed, he added. The T-iron used to hold the weight of the roof had become weak after water leakage due to consecutive rains, Vaibhav told Police and added that there was a layer of bricks on the roof to stop the water from leaking..
