The first ever Gaj Mahotsav started on World Elephant Day and was concluded on August 15. A jumbo festival to remember for lifeSource: TNNThe wildlife trust of India in partnership with the ministry of environment, forest and climate change, international fund for animal welfare, and United nations environment organised Gaja Yatra in Delhi. The four day festival has a total of 101 elephant art installations on display. The event was organised at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts where one can find scores of elephants made of clay, straw, waste, cloth, metal and other material.
