Cab driver shot in S Delhi mkt for not giving way

NEW DELHI: A 40-year-old cab driver was shot dead for allegedly blocking the way of another car at Krishna Market in south Delhi’s Kotla Mubarakpur on Saturday night. Hemant told police that they were having a chat in Sharma’s WagonR when a car driver started honking from behind. The cab driver and his friend got into an argument with the occupants of a Honda City after side-view mirrors of the two cars touched. The victim’s friend claimed that the men were drunk.Police have found CCTV footage showing the suspects fleeing from the spot.The cab driver, Umesh Sharma , and his friend, Hemant, had met for a late-night dinner.
