Governing body asks principal of Dyal Singh College to go on leave

He did not want any other activity apart from the governing body meeting to take place to ensure safety of the members. Mr.

Sinha made the request as two previous governing body meetings had been disrupted by protesting students and teachers. In an order, Mr.

Sinha wrote, “Certain serious allegations regarding financial and administrative irregularities against you have been brought to the notice of the governing body of the college. Sources said that the decision was taken by Mr.

Sinha after Mr.

Bakshi refused to suspend classes and all other activities in the college on Monday on Mr.

Sinha’s request in order to hold a governing body meeting..
