Swachhata Hi Sewa: South Delhi Municipal Corporation intensifies sanitation works

Summary:

Out of these 14 toilets, 3 are pink toilets dedicated to the women commissioned earlier and rest 11 toilets are partially being gradually converted into pink toilets. South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has intensified its activities related to sanitation and other ancillary activities during first 9 days of ongoing Swachhata Hi Sewa fortnight. The sanitary napkins will be easily available at a subsidised rate of Rs 5 from the vending machines. During the first 9 days around 700 kg of plastic bags has been seized. The pink toilets are presently functional at PVR Vikaspuri, Lajpat Nagar and GK Part 1..
