Delhi gang dupes Karnataka trio through fake ad

As they reached HPR Chowk, a driver met them and took them in a car.By evening, the driver took the trio village Tekri via Punana.Suddenly, five people came in another SUV and four others on motorbikes and attacked the trio.The gang also robbed them of their cash, ornaments and other belongings before fleeing the spot.Nanda Kumar, Neel Kumar and Vikram narrated the incident to the locals who gave them Rs 500.The trio then reached Punana and registered a police complaint.The police officer gave them Rs 2,000 so they could reach their home by train.Nanda Kumar also lodged a complaint with the cyber crime police in this regard. A wish to buy a used SUV in a dirt cheap deal on online classifieds platform OLX landed three persons from Karnataka 's Hassan district in trouble.The trio was robbed of Rs two lakh, some gold ornaments and their cellphones in a village in Delhi bordering Haryana.According to a report published in Vijay Karnataka, complainant Nanda Kumar, his son Neel Kumar and his nephew Vikram, all residents of Visveswaraya in Hassan saw an advertisement on OLX about a Fortuner SUV for just Rs six to seven lakh.The trio then enquired about the vehicle with the seller who said that the SUV was purchased in Bengaluru but since he had moved to Delhi, he brought it there.The seller asked them to come to Delhi to check the SUV and its documents.The person also offered to deduct their flight expenses from the price of the SUV..
