Gurugram 615 health workers on strike sacked

GURUGRAM: The health department on Wednesday terminated 615 national health mission (NHM) workers, who have been on strike since February 5, in the city. "Health workers have gone on strike 10 times in the last two years even though the by-laws to provide job security to such workers have been in force since January 1, 2018. We once again request workers to call off the strike and join the work," said Dr BK Rajora, chief medical officer (CMO), Gurgaon.
