NEW DELHI: An FIR of negligence has been registered in an incident in which a two-year-old girl injured her fingers when a Delhi Metro employee allegedly shut the door of a ticket vending machine (TVM) on her hand at Uttam Nagar metro station earlier this month. The maintenance staff shut the door unaware of the fact that the child has put her hand on the machine. The employee who had allegedly shut the door on the child’s hand is being questioned.Saxena said the incident occurred around 4.30pm on March 9.
