Modi 2.0: India choose Modi again, Landslide victory for NDA

This will be the second term for BJP in power and PM Modi as the Prime Minister of the country.

Before this, in 2014 BJP led NDA got a landslide victory by winning  336 seats that were far more than half-way mark.

It was also the biggest victory since the 1984 election that Rajiv Gandhi won with 414 LS seats.

Narendra Modi led BJP achieved the sweeping victory consecutively for the second term as the results of 17th Lok Sabha election were announced on May 23.

Earlier majority of the exit polls gave the clear victory to BJP.

It was also the biggest victory since the 1984 election that Rajiv Gandhi won with 414 LS seats.

The BJP is currently ahead on over 299 seats, with the partners in NDA pushing the total tally to over 348 seats, leads show as results of the general elections pour in.

In the last election, the NDA had 336 seats while BJP accounted for 282.
