Cong takes to the streets over water, power woes

The DPCC president said people were fed up with frequent power cuts and acute water shortage in the peak summer days but the AAP government had failed to address the problem. Many said the AAP government had not made any contingency plans to meet power and water emergencies. Dikshit said a DPCC delegation had met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal recently and brought to his notice the severe power and water shortage in the Capital. She said the protests in all 70 Assembly constituencies were to highlight the problems being faced by the people and to awaken the sleeping AAP government..
