As per the press release of Jamia Millia Islamia, JMI’s RCA registers more than 80 percent increase in number of applications for civil services coaching. A total of 13129 aspirants have applied for UPSC Civil Services-2020 coaching at Jamia Millia Islamia’s Residential Coaching Academy(RCA) this year compared to previous year’s 7245, registering a jump of more than 80 percent. It may be mentioned here that Mr Junaid Ahmad, third topper of 2018 Civil Services exam had received coaching at RCA. In all 43 candidates who received coaching and training at RCA had successfully made it to civil services in 2018.
