The incident took place on July 11, when Kiren Yadav, a property consultant, was shot at by two unidentified bike-borne assailants near a hotel in Dwarka. The bike borne men were chasing her vehicle and she was taken to Venkateshwar Hospital, said the police. According to Commissioner of Police Madhup Tiwari, on analysis of call records and CCTV footage, the accused were identified as Chadra Prakash from Najafgarh, Gulab, Abhishek, including shooters- Giriraj Tomar and Narendra.
