CM lays foundation of two Ambedkar varsity campuses

Tribune News ServiceNew Delhi, August 23Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia laid the foundation stone of two new campuses at Rohini and Dheerpur Village for Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) on Friday. Equipped with auditoriums, workshops, laboratories, sports complexes, swimming pools, amphitheatres and hostels, the new campuses will be developed as world class institutions of learning. On the challenges that lie ahead, he said, students after class XII look forward to job oriented courses that could fetch them good salary. Around 2.5 lakh students pass out of class XII each year, so a gap still remains and many a students have to drop out after class XII. In order to enable the needy students to get employment, we are planning for world class skill centers and skill based courses,” he said..
