Police launches operation Drishyam to check anti social elements in parks

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police launched a special combing operation at Japanese park to check the presence of anti-social elements in the area. There were some inputs about some activities and movements of anti-social elements at Japanese park in Rohini. In view of that special combing operation, Drishyam, was launched on September 29 with one platoon force led by senior police officers with an aim to round up such elements and ensure the safety of citizens especially women, children and senior citizens. In view of Ramleela arrangement and inputs of movements of anti-social elements such combing ops will continue further to make people feel safe at public places," DCP Rohini SD Mishra said. The visit was made at late hours in the evening so that the anti social elements are easily segregated from the normal joggers and evening walkers at a Japanese park..
