Chinese national held with 6 4 kg sandalwood

New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has detected 6.4 kg of Sandalwood from the hand baggage of a foreign passenger at IGI Airport. According to CISF on October 8 during Pre-Embarkation Security Check (PESC) through X-BIS machine at Security Hold Area (SHA) of Terminal-3 in IGI Airport, CISF personnel detected two pieces of Sandalwood weighing about 6.4 kg from the handbag of a foreign passenger. The passenger was later identified as Du Yibing (45), Chinese National, bound for Shanghai Pu Dong by China Eastern Airlines flight. He could not produce any valid documents to carry the Sandalwood. Assistant Inspector General (CISF) Hemendra Singh the foreign passenger along-with recovered 6.4 kg Sandalwood was handed over to Customs Officials for further action in the matter..
