Youth turned to crime to fund his lavish lifestyle arrested

New Delhi: A 25-year-old youth was arrested at Inderlok Metro Station on October 12. Police said that the accused, to live a lavish lifestyle, started committing the crime. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Metro) Vikram K Porwal said that the accused used to operate at Metro Stations, bus stands, railway stations to commit theft for about last seven years. "He kept watch over the passengers having a good profile who may carry a good amount of money with them," said Porwal. In the special drives over the past two months, the Delhi Police Metro Unit has arrested around 75 such criminals involved in carrying out the theft of mobiles, purse, bags in Metro trains and metro stations..
