FICN of Rs 4 64L found dumped at Kashmere Gate Metro Station

New Delhi: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Sunday detected an unattended bag containing fake Indian currency with a face value of Rs.4,64,000 at Kashmere Gate Metro Station. According to CISF on October 19 at about 5.30 pm, during routine sweeping at Kashmere Gate metro station, sub-inspector Birender Kumar, noticed an unattended bag lying near gate number-8. He immediately informed the matter to Station Shift In-charge of CISF and CISF Control Room. On opening and manual checking of the bag, an amount of RS 4,64,000 (fake currency in the denomination of 500 rupee note) was found inside the bag. Later, on arrival of DMRP Kashmere Gate at the Metro Station, the bag along-with fake currency was handed over to them for further necessary action in the matter," said CISF official..
