Summary:

Gurugram: The Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) have begun investigations on those officials that allowed registration of more 60 colonies in and around Gururgam in the last one year. The DTCP has already dismissed four officials who were involved in registering the illegal colonies in the past and they are presently facing an inquiry. "We have initiated strictest of action against those officials that were involved in registering the illegal colonies. We have now made clear that before giving the clearance the official would have to consult the senior so that there is no corruption in these processes and the accountability is fixed," said a senior official fromDTCP. As the rates of these areas are much lower than the market rates prevailing in Gurugram these plots also get enough buyers..
