Ghaziabad: A former PRO of Ghaziabad SSP has been transferred to Gorakhpur after he raised questions on the transfer and postings of corrupt cops at police stations of the district. Inspector Pankaj Kumar, on November 12, sent some objectionable posts on a media WhatsApp group alleging that the present SSP has allowed posting of corrupt police officials as SHO in police stations around the district. Kumar raised questions how police officer like Deepak Sharma, Laxmi Chauhan got the police station when honest and brave police officers are waiting for their number in police line. However, SSP Ghaziabad, Sudhir Kumar Singh, had ordered a probe into the matter which was headed by SP city, Ghaziabad.
