Dance music festival to celebrate traditional Indian art forms

New Delhi: Young artistes from Sahitya Kala Parishad will showcase their talents at the upcoming 'Sopan festival' with performances of Kathak, Odissi, Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam and classical music among other traditional Indian art forms. Organised by the Art, Culture & Language Department of the Delhi government, the cultural festival will be held at the Central Park from December 13 here. The six-day event will feature performances by 24 young and upcoming artistes who have received scholarship from Sahitya Kala Parishad.
