Keep tab on criminals previously involved in crime against women

New Delhi: The Delhi Police Commissioner directed DCPs of districts and units to keep a tab on activities of criminals who were earlier involved in crime against women cases. "Bad elements who have earlier been involved in women related crimes should be thoroughly verified and watch over their activities should be maintained," the police chief told senior officers. Meanwhile, Amulya Patnaik also discussed regarding the action taken by districts, units against robbers, snatchers and active criminals. He told DCPs that division and beat staff should be tasked to identify the criminal elements in their areas who have motorcycles. Identified proposals of MCOCA should be taken to their logical conclusion at the earliest," the police chief told meeting attendees..
