NCB seizes 2.7 kg curated marijuana from Delhi airport, arrests Lucknow-based consignee

The consignment, sent from the US, was to be collected by C Gidwani, who was apprehended by the police on September 18.

The payment for the drug consignment was made through bitcoins.

According to officials, the arrested man, a resident of Lucknow, had contacted the consignor through Instagram.

On basis of specific information, a team of the NCB, Delhi Zonal Unit, had seized a parcel sent to India from the US via DHL Express couriers in Delhi on August 31.

The parcel contained 2.7 kg of premium quality marijuana.
