The Greenfield Expressway to be built between Delhi and Mumbai (Delhi-Mumbai Expressway) was inspected by the Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday.

Gadkari has described the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway as the highway of progress.

Gadkari said that this is the world`s largest expressway.

He inspected the construction progress of the Expressway from Delhi to Dausa today.

The construction of 350 km of this 1350 km long expressway has been completed.

Eight lanes are being built on this one side.

If needed, four more lanes can be increased in future.

Its work is to be completed by January 2023.

The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will pass through the border of 265 villages in 18 tehsils of seven districts of Rajasthan.
